摘要: 随着高速串行收发器(SerDes)传输速率的飞速提升,随之而来的是高速SerDes功能性能参数复杂度的提升,因此针对高速SerDes的高效调试和debug方法成为国内外研究的重要课题。在分析和评价现有测试方法的基础上,提出了一种基于串口的高速SerDes调试和debug方案,设计了相应的串口协议,实现了SerDes参数的动态调试。相比于传统SerDes测试方法,该方案在满足SerDes全部参数调试需求的同时,大大减少了测试向量数量和时间,方便测试和应用人员进行调试和debug,同时更具通用性。

Abstract: With the rapid increase of the transmission rate of high-speed serial transceivers (SerDes), the complexity of function and performance parameters of high-speed SerDes increases. Therefore, efficient debugging methods for high-speed SerDes have become an important domestic and foreign study. Based on the analysis of the existing debugging methods, this paper proposes a debugging method of high-speed SerDes based on serial port, and the corresponding serial port protocol is designed to realize the dynamic debugging of SerDes parameters. Compared with the traditional SerDes testing methods, the solution in this paper not only satisfies the debugging needs of all SerDes parameters, but also greatly reduces the number and time of test vectors. This method is convenient for tester and user to debug. At the same time it is more versatile.
