一种基于CS-MCT串联的脉冲放电电路设计与实现

摘要: 一种阴极短接的MOS栅控晶闸管(CS-MCT)以其极低的导通压降,简单的栅极驱动电路被广泛应用于脉冲功率领域。但由于系统对高耐压开关器件的需求不断提高,单个器件的耐压已经无法满足,所以器件串联来提升耐压是一种快速且经济的解决方案。通过对栅极等效电路进行分析,得出了在不影响器件正常导通的情况下适量的增大栅极电阻可以提高电路的可靠性。驱动端使用变压器隔离原理,可以有效的进行高压隔离并且提高栅极信号同步性。通过对串联电路动态均压进行仿真,得出在每个器件并联RCD吸收电路可以消除由于器件寄生参数不一致而导致的延迟开启的器件两端的尖峰电压。最后对串联电路进行了测试分析,得出了一种电路简单、可靠性高、均压性好、高峰值电流的串联电路。

Abstract: A cathode-shorted thyristor (CS-MCT) is widely used in the field of pulse power because of its extremely low on-voltage drop and simple gate drive circuit. However, under the condition that the system has a growing demand for switching devices with high withstand voltage levels, the withstand voltage level of a single device can no longer meet the needs of the system, so connecting devices in series to increase the withstand voltage level is a fast and economical solution. By analyzing the equivalent circuit of the gate, it is found that the reliability of the circuit can be improved by appropriately increasing the gate resistance without affecting the normal conduction of the device. Applying the principle of transformer isolation at the driving end can improve the synchronization of the gate signals. After simulation analysis of the dynamic equalization voltage of the series circuit, the method of paralleling the RCD absorption circuit to each device is obtained to eliminate the problem of excessive voltage across the device due to inconsistent parasitic parameters of the device. Finally, by analyzing the test results of the series circuit, a series circuit with simple circuit, high reliability, good voltage equalization, and high peak current is obtained.
