摘要: 小型化是现代电子通信中重要的研究方向,频率合成器的小型化设计更是射频信道小型化的设计重点。基于多芯片组件(MCM)技术,设计了一款X频段小型化频率合成器,在满足电性能指标的前提下,尽可能减小模块体积。测试结果显示,该频率合成器在13.4 GHz处相位噪声低于-88 dBc/Hz @10 kHz,尺寸仅为15 mm×15 mm×6 mm,满足设计和系统使用要求。

Abstract: Miniaturization is a crucial research orientation in modern electronic communication, and miniaturized design of frequency synthesizer has been the core design in the miniaturization of radio frequency channel. This paper designs an X-band miniaturized frequency synthesizer based on the MCM technique, with the objective to reduce the volume of modules on the condition that it meets the parameters of electrical characteristics. The test result reveals that the phase noise of the frequency synthesizer is under -88 dBc/Hz @10 kHz at the frequency of 13.4 GHz, with only the size of 15 mm×15 mm×6 mm, satisfying the requirement of design and system usage.
