一种Boost型/Cuk型DC-DC转换芯片设计

摘要: 设计了一款Boost型/Cuk型DC-DC转换芯片。该芯片采用峰值电流模式PWM控制方法实现输出电压的恒定,单个2 A、40 V功率开关管集成在芯片上。设计采用全新的单输入反馈环路,使该芯片既可配置成Boost型电压转换器又可配置成Cuk型电压转换器,实现正电压输出和负电压输出。芯片采用ASMC 0.35 μm 5 V/60 V BCD工艺研制,电源电压范围2.5~30 V,最高工作频率2.5 MHz,典型应用为输入电压5 V,输出12 V、550 mA和-12 V、350 mA。芯片工作频率可通过外部时钟同步。

Abstract: A chip which is used as Boost/Cuk DC-DC converter is proposed to this paper.It controls the output voltage to be constant through peak-current-mode and PWM control mode,which containing an internal 2 A,40 V power switch.A novel single input feedback loop makes the chip be configured as either a boost converter or a cuk converter,achieving positive or negative voltage output.The chip is designed and fabricated with ASMC 0.35 μm 5 V/60 V BCD process with input voltage ranged from 2.5 V to 30 V,with up to 2.5 MHz switching frequency.The typical application is generating 12 V at 550 mA or-12 V at 350 mA from 5 V input.The switching frequency of the chip can be synchronized to an external clock.
