摘要: 针对基于边缘检测的车牌定位算法易受天气、污泥等复杂背景干扰的问题,采用边缘检测与形态学相结合的方式,提出了一种车牌定位算法,提高了车牌定位的准确度。FPGA器件具有灵活扩展、便于移植的特点,基于FPGA器件,采用流水线技术与并行策略,实现了车牌定位系统,提高了系统的定位速度。实验结果显示,系统定位准确率可以达到98.9%,且每一张车牌定位的时间为1.2 ms,具有实用性。

Abstract: Aiming at the problem that the license plate location algorithm based on edge detection is susceptible to the interference of weather, sludge and other complex backgrounds, a combination of edge detection and morphology is used to propose a license plate location algorithm to improve the accuracy of license plate location. FPGA devices have the characteristics of flexible expansion and easy transplantation. Based on FPGA devices, pipeline technology and parallel strategies are used to realize the license plate location system and improve the system's location speed. The experimental results show that the accuracy of the system positioning can reach 98.9%, and the positioning time for each license plate is 1.2 ms, which are practical.
