芯片管脚热插拔失效分析和改进

Analysis and Improvement of Chip Pin Hot Swap Failure

摘要: 客户反馈2CKS32F030K6T6为主控的电机板无法正常驱动电机运转,且量测芯片电源管脚短路。对故障电路板进行技术分析后发现,MCU PA7管脚受到异常电压冲击,导致管脚损伤并对VDDGND短路。现场检查客户电路图,发现损伤的管脚未做任何浪涌防护。根据客户的电路实际应用场景,优化测试流程步骤,规避热插拔。同时对板卡MCU作为端口的管脚进行串联限流电阻和增加TVS管防护,降低浪涌电压对管脚的损伤。改进后,客户板卡量产过程中未再出现浪涌损伤管脚现象。

Abstract: The Customer feedback two pieces of CKS32F030K6T6 as the main control of the motor board can’t drive the motor run normally, and measure the chip power supply pin short circuit. Technical analysis of the faulty circuit board found that the MCU PA7 pin was subjected to abnormal voltage shock, resulting in pin damage and short-circuit to VDD and GND. On-site inspection of the customer's circuit diagram, found that the damaged pin did not do any surge protection. According to the actual application scenario of the customer's circuit, we optimize the test process steps to avoid hot-plugging. At the same time, the MCU pins of the board as ports are connected in series with current-limiting resistors and increase TVS tube protection to reduce the damage of surge voltage on the pins. After the improvement, there is no more surge damage to the pins during the mass production of the customer's board.
