摘要: 针对多行扫多通道恒流发光二极管(Light Emitting Diode, LED)显示驱动芯片的SRAM选择问题,突破常规选择,基于通用类型的SRAM IP,设计了SRAM控制器。该控制器由控制电路、指令译码电路、数据处理电路、存储内建自测(Memory Build in Self-Test, MBIST)电路等主要部分组成。仿真和实验结果表明,采用该电路设计的显示驱动芯片可以减小芯片面积,降低成本,节省系统带宽,进一步提升显示的刷新率,降低系统设计的复杂度,为类似设计提供了新的设计思路。

Abstract: In order to solve the problem of SRAM selection for multi-line scan and multi-channel constant current LED display driver chip, a SRAM controller is designed based on general type of SRAM IP. The controller consists of control circuit, instruction decoding circuit, data processing circuit and MBIST circuit. The simulation and experimental results show that the display driver chip designed by this circuit can greatly reduce the chip area and cost, save system bandwidth and further improve the refresh rate of display, reduce the complexity of system design, which provides a new design idea for similar design.
